Current notice version: 28 August 2026.
Scooper stores your account email, password hash, traveller
preferences, dog profiles and saved dog identification, health
and travel-document records in its PostgreSQL database. Scooper
never stores your password in readable form, and account
verification and password-reset tokens are stored only as
hashes. This data is used to operate and secure your account and
to personalise the travel checks you request.
When you ask Scooper to draft an itinerary, OpenAI receives the
trip description and a non-identifying safety identifier. It does
not receive your email, password hash or saved dog profile.
Resend receives your email address and the content needed to send
account emails. Render hosts Scooper's application and database.
While you are signed in, the browser keeps your authentication
token in session storage. Checklist progress remains in local
browser storage and is not part of your Scooper account.
Scooper does not currently sell personal data or use advertising
or marketing tracking. No online service can guarantee absolute
security, so use a unique password and do not share account
links. Scooper keeps account data while your account is active.
Limited copies may remain temporarily in provider backups and
operational or security logs after deletion.
You can view and correct profile information, download your saved
personal data and delete your account from Account security.
